Blink and you may have missed fashion designer Kim Mesches’ #undertheground fashion show on New York City’s L train. Subway commuters got front row seats to Mesches’ latest collection that traveled from the Union Square station platform to the Bedford Ave Brooklyn stop. Mesches’ collection, a nod to society as a whole, is about the fragile balance of technology and nature that we may overlook in our day-to-day lives. After our recent discussion on rethinking how runway shows are done, the subway train served as the perfect venue to bring fashion to (everyday) life. Congrats Kim Mensches on reinventing the runway and presenting a beautiful collection. In case you you missed the train, here are the runway photos.
