This year was a year for making great strides, lots of change, and much much more. Here’s our fashionable year in review:

We finished up six months with Future Boston by pitching Greg Selkoe of Karma Loop and Future Boston family. Meanwhile, we were recruiting the best fashion designers from around the world. With six contents represented and most major metropolitan cities (as well as some less metro – I’m looking at you Anchorage), we are on our way to conquering the world…

We rebranded.  It was time for a makeover (just in time for Valentine’s day).  With help from our creative director Lucy, we made Nineteenth Amendment crisp, clean, and collected.

Nineteenth Amendment was one of 13 startups selected for PayPal’s StartTank incubator.  We moved our office from Newbury Street to PayPal’s Boston office at One International Place and discovered the perks of combining cappuccino machines and creative minds.

Bus rides and April showers grew new opportunities for May! We were one of eight companies selected by major retailers and brands such as Macy’s, Marc Jacobs, and Ralph Lauren for the first class of the New York Fashion Tech Lab.

We racked up milage busing back and forth between Boston and New York learning from the best of the best in e-commerce and retail. We took field trips (like this one to Alex and Ani in Rhode Island) and got exclusive behind the scenes access to some of the best facilities in the US.

We made fashion history on June 19th, 2014 when launched in invite only beta! Triple high fives were made (in the Garment District of Manhattan no less) and the first sales were made!

Nineteenth Amendment pitched for the culmination of the NYFTLab at Hearst Tower to over 200 industry leaders. It was also our TV debut during CBS This Morning.

August was a month off for everyone else but we kept working (and fundraising) as we continued to release our first class of global designers.

New York Fashion Week came and went in a flash and we found even more independent fashion designers to bring to you on

We moved to the Big Apple and joined Friends of eBay along with 5 other kick-ass startups.  Stop by for a visit if you’re in town: 625 6th Ave, New York, NY.

Holiday season was full throttle but we celebrated at our NYC Press Launch Party in the lower east side.

What a short month! Just long enough for the last minute shoppers to buy new Nineteenth Amendment Gift Cards for any amount of their choosing! Did you get one?

What’s up next for 2015?

Big things are in the works…but for now, let’s cheers to a great 2014 and an even more fashionable 2015!
