Today, like the founders before us, we present our Declaration of Fashion Independence:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all garments are not created equal, that they are endowed by their Designer with certain unalienable Attributes, that among these are Quality, Design, and the pursuit of Authenticity.–That to secure these attributes, Fashion Brands are instituted among the People, deriving their just powers from the consent of the fashionable, –That whenever any Form of Brand becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the Fashionable People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute a new Company, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Individuality and Happiness…
