Fall is creeping up faster than you think (yay fall fashion!) and Nineteenth Amendment wants you to be the newest part of the pre-sale posse (a.k.a. awesome intern). We have just begun our search for talented, fall semester interns who love a fun, close knit work environment and have a passion for fashion!
Here’s what you need to know: 1) our interns must be able to accept college credit in order to participate in our program, and 2) they must be awesome. The program will run for the full semester (schedule and hours flexible). We also require that interns spend at least part-time onsite at our office (630 Flushing Ave Brooklyn, New York) and must provide their own computer.
Creativity is a must here in any position at Nineteenth Amendment. The creative intern be responsible for working their magic on designs within given brand guidelines for social media marketing, editing product and editorial shoots (Photoshop), and helping with everything come look and feel exploration, conceptual and visual development! Our ideal candidate lives and breathes Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop etc.) and knows social media like the back or your hand. You also love presenting your work in those to others!
Our marketing gurus are the ones who drive the company interest! Day-to-day responsibilities will include being hands on with every level of marketing from running social media campaigns, conducting market research from the back end, and writing blog content for the website. Lastly, feeling absurdly confident in wordpress and all forms of social media is a must. Love to write? Check. Love fashion? Check. Love social media? Check! If this describes you, the marketing internship is right up your alley.
Public Relations Intern
Do you love meeting and talking to new people about the things you love? Public Relations at Nineteenth Amendment might just be your calling. PR interns will be involved in creating content for designer and press outreach as well as contacting various publications to get the great Nineteenth name out into the world! You will be the voice of the brand, representing us at events and with press outreach. A naturally outgoing personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills excel in Public Relations.
Full Stack Development Intern
Love to make stuff work? A motivated intern will work closely with the COO in managing designers, models, and fulfillment, and sourcing a variety of information for the Nineteenth Amendment Team. Creative and confident in collecting information through various mediums (internet, phone outreach, etc.), the ideal candidate is determined and scrappy when it comes to finding information and figuring out the best way to get things done. Why invent the wheel when you can ride it!
Technical Design Intern
You have high standards when it comes to product and quality and you aren’t afraid to go a little bit crazy to get it? Perfect. Great technical producers should be meticulous artists. Our ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, be able to work with designers to understand and improve tech packs (if needed), and the ability to coordinate effectively with manufacturers to meet production timelines.

But your hands-on experience and skills will develop tremendously while your input into the company is widely recognized.
